Pertandingan ini terbuka kepada semua sekolah seluruh Malaysia dan terbahagi kepada dua kategori iaitu Kategori Sekolah Rendah dan Kategori Sekolah Menengah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tujuan pertandingan ini diadakan adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman pelajar sekolah dalam bidang nanoteknologi di samping mencungkil daya kreativiti dan inovasi para pelajar serta meningkatkan kepakaran mereka dalam teknik penyelesaian masalah.
